Change safe password

To change your safe password, use the 'Safe' - 'Change Password' menu option:

Please keep in mind that the safe password is the only way to access your data. If you forget it, there is no other way to recover your data other than try every possible password (a technique known as brute-force). This also means that if an unauthorized person somehow gets hold of a safe, there's isn't much he or she can do.

Because of that, we suggest you use senseless passphrase instead of a single password. Make sure this phrase includes punctuation, capitalization, numbers and, if possible, symbols such as '#' or '$'. Note this phrase down on a piece of paper and keep it in your wallet until memorized. Store this piece of paper on a secure place like a physical safe if you wish.
